On March 13, 2026, we suffered a tremendous and heartbreaking loss. We received the news of the passing of our highly motivated leader and team manager, Mark Rodriguez, who was gifted 15 bonus years with a double lung transplant. He dedicated his time to making an impact and inspiring others in our community.
Team NM was his dream, and one of his final acts was forming this team of incredible advocates, whom he had big plans for. As a team, we are committed to carrying on his legacy and honoring his wishes for Team NM to THRIVE! We love you, Mark! We are warriors, and Team NM is your legacy.

Team New Mexico Transplant Games of America is dedicated to promoting awareness about the incredible gift of life. Each member has either received a transplant or is connected to a donor hero. Our mission is to proudly represent NM at the 2026 games in Denver. Colorado, strengthen the transplant community in NM, and support families throughout this journey.
